NASA Redesign

I was recently watching a video clip featuring the words of Neil deGrasse Tyson. It’s one that has been making the rounds for the last six months or so. It brought this NASA redesign package back into my mind that I had seen on Behance.

The video I was watching was a discussion on the Bill Maher show. In short, Tyson was discussing an intriguing idea that without a fully operational and functional space program available, there would be fewer children exposed to the notion of space and science. Fewer would be dreaming about the stars and in turn, fewer of them as adults would be moving into the science and engineering jobs that would ultimately be the basis for future technology and employment for countless numbers of people.

I for one would love to see NASA all over the news again. I would love to see them in the public eye, forcing us to look up rather than down and making us think of the possibilities we are creating for future generations.

This redesign by Rafael Fagulha is a refreshing rethinking of an old brand in need of a facelift.
